I spent my evening visiting my aunt at the hospital. She’s having heart valve replacement surgery on Tuesday and is, understandably, a nervous wreck. So I took her a little cheer up package with flowers, a card, tootsie roll pops to help curb her cigarette cravings, and a copy of The Hunger Games. She needed a book that would completely consume her for a while and take her mind off of things. Totally the best pick, right?
Most awesome niece ever. Pretty sure I won that award tonight.
