President Barack Obama called Kentucky coach John Calipari on Tuesday to congratulate him and the men’s basketball team while inviting them to the White House. The president, according to the White House, told Calipari the team played with class and dignity. He spoke to Anthony Davis, congratulating him on winning the Final Four Most Outstanding Player Award. Obama told Calipari he looked forward to congratulating the team in person and getting his own Wildcats jersey.
